Kamen Rider Ryuki is the 12th series of the Heisei era Kamen Rider tokusatsu franchise and features the story of a young newspaper intern who becomes Kamen Rider Ryuki in order to protect ordinary humans from The Mirror Monsters. Alternative Zero is one of the Pseudo-Rider Alternatives from the series who are not technically Kamen Riders themselves but were designed to mimic the official 13 Riders. In contrast to the other Pseudo-Rider, Alternative, Alternative Zero’s suit has blue accents and silver cables, and he also has “Trial Prototype-00” written down his side to emphasize his experimental nature. Slightly more high-tech than the official Riders, his suit maintains the insect theme but is based on a cricket rather than a grasshopper. This impressively detailed figure from Tamashii Nations perfectly recreates his imposing appearance from the show and also comes with his Slash Dagger and five Advent Cards which can be inserted into Alternative Zero’s belt.
